Logistics Coordinator

Your Day-to-Day Impact

• Communicate performance expectations to the carrier for each load. I.E. pick-up dates & time, delivery date & time, special requirements, etc. (Track & Trace)
• Reply to customer issues, may include but not limited to looking up information, creating reports and updating orders, and responding to emails. 
• Effectually communicate with operations on a regular and timely basis regarding issues impacting the customer or service expectations and commitments. 
• Assist operations team members with training and resource material for standard operational processes and procedures as necessary.
• Develop potential carrier leads and relationships, via cold calling, e-mail, computer databases, online resources, etc. 
• Build strong working relationships with carriers in assigned office 
• Perform carrier-specific “needs analysis” in order to identify potential business conflicts, and develop problem solving strategies for successful carrier operations.
• Perform ongoing contract reviews to ensure operational success, resulting in mutually positive results for future growth and expansion. 
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
