WEBINAR: Supply Chain Update with Logistics Professor Jason Miller

By Brooke Beall

The last few years have created unprecedented supply chain challenges, both locally and globally. The question is "Where do we go from here?"

We've invited Jason Miller, PhD, Associate Professor of Logistics at Michigan State University for a fireside chat on Tuesday, May 10 at 1 p.m. EST / noon CST to discuss current market challenges and provide his insights on:

  • The economy emerging from the COVID era
  • Stimulus funds drying up
  • Inflation, fuel cost and their impact on growth
  • War in Ukraine

Registration is required - RSVP HERE!

Focusing on the leading indicators, we'll tackle questions such as, "What should we expect from the economy over the coming 12-14 months? Where are the opportunities? Where are the risks?"

For our clients that do business in Texas or work in the energy sector, we will also look at energy forecasts and projected impact on freight demand.

Finally, we'll address truck capacity. The driver shortage is a chronic issue. It's more pronounced in periods of peak demand, but the shortage is always there. What are the strategies right now that shippers and carriers should employ to obtain capacity when they need it?

If you have questions that you'd like Professor Miller to address, please email us at marketing@thegtigroup.com
