Preparing for Tropical Storm Harvey

By Lisa Sursavage

Based on weather predictions we are currently receiving, your Jetco team is making necessary adjustments so we can meet your needs in a timely and safe way. According to reports, precipitation in the Houston area will be heavy over the next few days – potentially beginning on Friday and continuing into next week. You can find out more here: https://spacecityweather.com/

Your Jetco team is fully staffed and operational. If we make a decision to suspend or curtail operations as the result of the weather, we will keep you informed. We will never compromise the safety of our drivers, the public or your cargo. Any scheduled loads or appointments will be on a best-efforts basis during and immediately after the periods of disruptive weather. If you are aware of any closed shipping or receiving facilities, kindly inform us so we can avoid unproductive runs.

If any cargo cannot get wet, please hold off on shipping until the weather is more favorable. We do not believe tarps will be sufficient to protect your cargo with the amount of rainfall currently forecasted. We will assume no liability for water damage to cargo during this rain event.

If you have loads that can be accommodated later or earlier than normal, please contact your Jetco representative:
