How long have you been with Jetco?
1 month

How long have you been in the trucking industry?
40 years

What made you want to join the Jetco team?
In my past employment, Jetco was a competitor that I would bid against and it was frustrating to lose out on opportunities. I was attracted to Jetco because of the excellent CSA scores, the teamwork approach, and most importantly the fact Jetco is both an asset-based company and has a freight brokerage division, too. Those points are critical in meeting the needs of our customers. Jetco’s attention to providing good service is also critical in today’s competitive trucking market.

What does D2P mean to you?
Driving to Perfection means that we all are aware of our surroundings and take the extra time and effort to insure safe driving practices are used at all times, whether we are working or in our personal vehicle. Operating safely must always be the primary concern.

What’s your favorite: breakfast, lunch or dinner?
Dinner—I am originally from Kansas City, so Barbecue of any kind is my favorite. Of course, a good steak with all the trimmings is a very second close.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I have a couple: Australian wine country or Tahiti

When you’re not working, what do you like to do?
I have several hobbies: riding my Honda Valkyrie motorcycle; boating and fishing on Lake Conroe; watching baseball and football (Royals, Chiefs, Astros & Texans fan!); and cooking barbecue on my pellet smoker. I am also an outdoor bicycle rider and have ridden across Missouri 4 times and across Iowa twice. I’ve completed the MS 150 ride 18 times. And, for the past 17 years, I’ve taught spinning classes at the gym.
