U.S. operating units Jetco and GTI USA combine asset operations

By Katharine Mohn

WEST DES MOINES, IA – The GTI Group announced today that GTI USA Transport Inc. (MC-809871, US DOT-2350838) has moved its assets under Jetco Delivery’s authority (MC-555157, US DOT-1470034).

The move strengthens the ongoing, increased collaboration between the U.S.-based operating units, enabling both GTI USA and Jetco to better service clients needing open deck/flatbed service in the central U.S. The move also supports and aligns with The GTI Group’s north-south axis, from Montreal to Houston.

Specifically, GTI USA has combined its knowledge of the Midwest market and geography with Jetco’s nearly 50-year track record of safe trucking operations in the Gulf Coast to offer a dedicated Texas – Iowa lane with experienced, highly trained professional drivers for its clients. Both operating units are working closely to streamline their combined operations.

“We’re excited about being able to better support our clients’ freight needs through leveraging our combined resources,” said Jetco President Kyle Kristynik and GTI USA President Kent Jordan in a combined statement. “The move enables us to better streamline operations, better utilize equipment and serve clients who have flatbed freight.”

Clients can expect the same team they trust to handle their existing freight, using the same best practices. By leveraging each other’s existing trucks, equipment and resources, The GTI Group’s U.S.-based operating units can now offer increased capacity, reliability and competitive pricing.
