Autonomous vehicles have hit the roads in tests and made headlines recently, but what about autonomous trucks?

Recently, **Channel 2 Houston** interviewed [Jetco Delivery](https://www.linkedin.com/company/jetco-delivery/) CEO and [THE GTI GROUP](https://www.linkedin.com/company/the-gti-group/) Executive VP [Brian Fielkow](https://www.linkedin.com/in/ACoAAAA4E4kBLy53nw57EZSjSX0WBC2DCEjptsY/) to get his perspective on autonomous trucks. Brian contends that we are decades away from truly driver-less trucks. Instead, technology will redefine the role of the driver, not replace him/her. 

Just as airplanes still have pilots in the cockpit, even if much of the flying is automated, so will trucks — a safety driver.
